Applications

The dosage is according to the normal production requirements, 1000mg/kg for alcoholic beverages, 580-3100mg/kg for chewing gum, 71mg/kg for baked goods, 28mg/kg for candy, and 17mg/kg for cold drinks.
Lactate solvents are commonly used solvents in the paint and coatings industry and offer many attractive advantages, including 100% biodegradability, easy recycling, non-corrosive, non-carcinogenic, and non-ozone depleting.
It acts as a permissible flavor and as a carrier solvent. As a spice, it is mainly used for the preparation of rum, milk, butter, grapes, fruit wine, coconut and other flavors.
Used as a solvent for nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate, and also used in the perfumery industry.
